Buying pc from a freind worth 600

A friend of mine is selling a pc with specs as follows for 600

i5-3570k
8gb corsair ven ram 1600
asrock z77 extreme 4 mobo
corsair tx750 psu
gtx 670 2gb
128gb ocz ssd
antec 85 full tower

just wondering if i should pay 600 or build my own as i have a budget of $1000 with monitor

so if i bought his i could buy a $150 1080p monitor and 1tb hdd

That's a very solid purchase at just $600, building the equivalent of that would cost around 700 or so

You're getting a solid gaming CPU with an unlocked multiplier and a 670 which is just a little more powerful than a 760

You could definitely sell that 670 off for a 1TB drive and a monitor, then wait a little while for Maxwell and AMD's next generation of cards

I probably wouldn't try to sell it for more than 250 or so, best bet would be to go on ebay etc. and compare prices of others trying to sell theirs
