Will Two Different Brands of the Same Card Crossfire?

Hello, I'm considering adding another Radeon R9 270x to my rig. I can't say I've ever seen anyone have two of the same cards of different brands. In theory, I would assume it should work, but I'd like to be as careful as possible; I'd rather not blow a lot of money on something that won't do its intended job. I have the Gigabyte R9 270x in my rig, and I want to go with an Asus for the other, or perhaps sapphire. \

Solution
It won't be a problem. The Crossfire interaction is all controlled by AMD stuff, the OEMs just rearrange stuff on the boards and put different fans on them, they don't modify the chips on the boards so as far as your computer is concerned a Gigabyte 270x looks exactly the same as a Sapphire 270x

Any AMD GPUs can run CrossFire no matters the clock, the memory, as long as there is a CrossFire bridge and the two GPUs are the same

I have Asus R7 265 and HIS R7 265. I connect they, but they doesn't work and I have many problem. OS often freezing, display blinking and games doesn't runs. They displayed the messages as "The app ... doesn't work, close app", "memory can't be read/write".
