I really don't get what is going on. My specs are as follows -
CPU - i7-3770k Ivy Bridge
GPU - XFX HD 7970 Double D Edition
RAM - 2x4 8GB Kingston HyperX RAM

I recently installed the CPU during last Christmas. My graphics card was acquired some time in October/November. I did a clean wipe on all ATI drivers just recently and reinstalled the drivers brand new. But some reason, after the CPU installation, I still get 30-45 Frames Per Second (same measurement before the CPU change). Is there something wrong? I have liquid cooling on the CPU and temperatures never went above 60 C during gaming.

Edit - if you need more information for my specs, just ask.

Solution
that's really weird :\ if it only happens in multiplayer it would suggest a CPU issue but your CPU should be killing this game, I would say that you should turn off hyperthreading and see if that does anything for you.

also, do you have another GPU? You could try different combinations of GPU and CPU to see if any particular part is the real problem

My bad. I'm running at 1920x1080 at ultra settings. (to note, at game-debate.com, I asked the community and I was told that my rig should be able to run it at 60+ frames per seconds)

What OS 32/64 bit?

Install MSI Afterburner and set OSD (on screen display) on for various GPU/CPU functions such as FPS, GPU temps, vram, memory etc. so while playing you can see what's going on.

Under general tab:

under Monitoring tab:

In the RivaTuner section, set up similar to this and adjust font size by sliding the On-Screen Display Zoom

Are your cores parked?

My previous CPU was an i3 3220. My current specs for my CPU is at stock, no overclock. So my CPU is currently 3.5 GHZ and 3.9 at turbo.

My cores are not parked and I'm using a 64-bit Windows 8.1 Pro.

I have other games that are demanding but they perform silky smooth.

Turning off the hyperthreading did the job, although occasionally it'll drop to 30 or 40, which I'm kinda iffy about. My concern now is how to deactivate hyperthreading just for an application or do I have to set it everytime i restart?

I'm not sure if you can but you might be able to set certain profiles for different games on MSI Afterburner or some similar computer configuration software. I'm not too sure about this so you might have to do some searching, I haven't used something like that just yet

Alright. For now, I believe you have the solution. I've checked with other sites, though, and they claim it's better for it on. However, their case isn't the same as mine.

I'm still iffy, and I'm still waiting for that Mantle patch.

Get BF4 Editor and change the Network Smoothing to 10%.

I have 4770k and 280x with no issues, so it's hard to say what the problem is with yours. I still would install MSI Afterburner and monitor what's going on. Whatever.
