I have an fx 6300 at 3.5 ghz and a gtx 760. Would I see an increase in performance if i pick up a new kaveri apu since it is supposed to allow for easier interactions between the cpu and gpu?

Solution
no that's only for the on board GPU, the new architecture for the kaveri APUs in a nutshell is basically better communication between the GPU and the CPU portions, allow for simultaneous compute, so GPU and the CPU can work on the same tasks for power that's greater than the sum of its parts.

Doesn't work if you use a discrete graphics card, the CPU portion is very weak so replacing an FX 6300 would be a downgrade
