VSync Limiting fps to 45-50 on Minecraft.

Hey guys I have a bit of an FPS problem on minecraft. I have a R9 270x which is fine for running minecraft, I get 100+fps with VSync off on full settings. However when I turn VSync on my FPS drops by half (to 45-50) even thought I have a 60Hz refresh rate monitor.

Turn v-sync off it is limiting fps,probably cause of your monitor.If you want something to look great instal super real shraders...something like that.Your graphics card can support Battlefield 4 on ultra

isn't the point of minecraft is that it's supposed to not look good, and you're supposed to use your imagination somewhat?

(don't see people asking for photo realistic legos)

well when the gameplay is choppy and looks laggy it's hard to enjoy.
and when V-Sync is off it's still choppy because the monitor isn't ready to receive the frame.
