How to install windows on a fresh Motherboard

hi, i purchased a new motherboard today and was wondering how i would install windows 8 on it. I purchased a brand new installation of windows 8 and put it on a flash drive so i can put it on my new motherboard. How will i put it on though? Do i have to have an existing OS before i can put on windows 8?

No, you just go with the installation as usual. Bear in mind that your existing OS will be removed

i was reading that people needed to clean their hard drives off. How will i get it off of the hard drive and booted up on the new motherboard?

Windows installation has options for formatting the partition before the installation begins. Use this option and you'll be fine
