Is this a good graphics card for gaming?

The 660 will be good to run most games on high settings @1080p, however if you're seeking to play all the newer games maxed out @1080p neither of those will be enough.

Go with the first one, the 1gb extra of VRAM is pretty major at 1080p or above.

What is the resolution on your monitor? That is the question I need an answer to first before I would recommend one over the other. 1920x1080? 1920x1200? 1600x900? If you're using the monitor right now, right click your desktop click screen resolution and next to the Resolution: (__________) tell me what is the highest number there.

not much . if you have too weak processor ,it is more preferable to have 2GB VRAM , but if your processor is robust 1 GB additional VRAM will make no difference.

Once again it is relative to the resolution you want to be gaming at, you can get a card with 6gb vram but if you're gaming at 600x480 it wont make a bit of difference. Tells us what monitor you're using and your question can be answered much easier, saying get A, B or C without knowing the res you want performance at is pointless advice.

Thats a pretty low resolution if you dont plan to be upgrading your monitor anytime soon, than a 1gb card will serve just perfectly fine. At this point I'd say get the boost card you've already linked from EVGA, it will work great for you.

If you can afford the 650ti 2gb boost, then by all means get it, if its out of your budget and all you can get is the 650ti 2gb than get that instead, its now dependent on the money you wish to spend my friend.
