Which is the right temps?

Did I stutter? I said to monitor load temps in software. Idle temps don't mean anything. As far as I am concerned right now the bios is right and whatever software you are using is wrong. Using multiple different software ought to prove which one to follow.

Oh yes, okay, didn't pay attention, Trying to download HWmonitor right now, can't find temp sensors in Cpu-z

Hmm... Then how it's 45 C' on Idle while the fanse are raging extremely loud? (Enermax ETS T40 Tb, using dual fans)
And it's not even overclocked

55c at idle + loud fans, I think you should reapply your thermal paste. What are your mobo socket temps? I wouldn't be able to tell you where you would find that as I tihnk its different on each mobo. For example mine is called TMPIN0 according to hwmonitor. It should be within 5-15 degrees of your cpu temp.

About the bios, it should be getting its info from the proc via DTS and should have other sensors for socket/nb/sb/etc. I mean DTS isn't a new tech, its been around since C2D IIRC,

The fans are loud at the BIOS screening, but runs normal on idle, is it that bad? oh yes, it's HDT, so I applied a bit more paste
