Hi ! I just bought a new laptop on Windows 8, and I can't use anymore my USB wifi antennas, which were working fine on Windows XP. One of them is a NETSYS Network 990WG (Chinese brand) and the other one is a big one for boats (I can't find the brand, but it's the model visible on this page: http://www.uship.fr/bateaux,antenne-wifi-active-usb-8-db,antenne-usb,page,zoom,mod,boutique,voilerie,38781-4050.fr.html).

I tried all drivers from this page (http://www.station-drivers.com/index.php/10-drivers/38-realtek-wireless) but none worked. Some of them couldn't be installed at all because of compatibility issues.

REALTEK RTL8187 use to work on windows XP... Do you have any idea ? I really need to make these antennas working ...

Thanks!

Your only hope is that you get the latest available drivers and then try installing them in compatibility mode. Windows 8 is not real driver friendly for the old stuff but it's worth a try: right click on the driver installer, properties, compatibility tab, then select a compatibility with XP. Then you can try running the driver installer. I would handicap it at a 25% chance of working, so good luck.
