Sorry for all of these different posts. It's not like I'm trying to get attention, it's just different things come up, and my budget changes drastically repeatedly. I'm so sorry.

If you hover your mouse over my avatar on the right you will see my build, and I cannot run Arma 3 maxed out, nor dayz standalone at a constant 60fps. As far as recording games, something like an Avermedia Live Gamer HD capture card will work well with whatever system you setup.

Erm, in answer to your question any i5 quad and a gtx760 will give you a good frame rate at reasonable settings, and will cost you about £550 from scratch.
You wont get that maxing the game out tho, as maxiim was pointing out, ..

Yes, you can build a machine that can play ANYTHING on reasonable settings for $800.
If you are only really interestd in a particular game or 2, spend the minimum cos it will play em all anyway.
You might get bored with games in 12 months. .

Well, it's not only DayZ I want to play. But what I meant by that, is DayZ is the most intensive game I will be playing. My pc was stolen, so reusing parts is a bit impossible. Max, what frame rate would I steadily run at lets say, medium settings on that build?

That setup that will run most older games maxed at the resolution of the monitor I put in there. As far as dayz goes its hard to tell, I run with high settings on 1440p with an OCed 780 and an OCed 3570k at over 60fps when I'm making trips through the woods. When I'm around other players and in big towns like cherno, it sometimes dips to the 20-30fps range. DayZ standalone is just not optimized well enough yet to be used as some sort of a standard for building a PC. I'd say with high settings with that setup you will be performing at over 60fps out in the country, and as lows as 25 in the cities.

Sorry to hear about the PC btw =/ ...lots of scumbags out there
