Hey guys, I'm building my first pc. It's primarily going to be used for offline gaming on games like skyrim and building some 3D games. Also, which graphics card should I use, Evga or gigabyte? They both cost the same with rebates.
Budget
900-1000 after shipping and rebates
Usage
gaming, game creating, light video editing, music making, internet
Monitor
Already have one but might get another in the future
OS
I have windows 7 home edition
OC
Maybe but most likely not, I need to do some more research on it.
SLI/CROSSFIRE
maybe in the future when parts prices go down
Additional
Would like everything to be fairly quiet, also any advice on building it would be helpful. Also in the future I'm buying a new mouse and keyboard so suggestions would be nice.
Why am I upgrading?
I have a 2011 gateway that can't play the games I want to play. ( also I'm posting it on eBay to sell if anyone's interested.)
Any advice on this build would be great thanks.
