Hello! I Recently Experienced a Crash on Dell Inspiron1564 in Just 3 Years. Battery was Dead in 10 Months.Now It Had A Problem That It Wont Power Up On Repetitive Press on Power Button. Gave it For Repair and It Started a New Problem That After Shutdown Laptop Goes Off But Still Consuming The Battery in Off State and Board Heating Up. This Time It Went to Repair and The Board Finally Died.
Now I Plan To Buy a New Laptop in Budget of US $ 400 to 475. I am Too Confused Some Say Dell Is Good But My Experience is Miserable, Some Say Hp is Better But To Sensitive, Some People Advise Lenovo But Many People Have Doubts on Quality of Lenovo and Its Life. Vendors Also Suggest Acer for Low Price But I Have Hardly Ever Seen A DVD Rom of Acer Working Trouble Free.
Kindly Suggest What Should I Buy. The Specs I Need are i3 /i5 With Atleast 500 Gb Hdd and 4 GB Ram and around 2.1Ghz or Above Processor.15.6 inches Display, Dos or Ubuntu Based Machine. DVD Rom is Good To Have But Not a Must. I Need a Durable Machine With Good Performance. A Heavy Graphics Card is Not Required.
Kindly Note That I Live in Karachi - Pakistan Therefore If Possible Suggest a Machine That Can Be Bought Here.
