Need PCBuild advice

I am building a PC for gaming that is around $900 or less. http://www.pccasegear.com/sc/pzn
I was wondering if all these parts are reasonable and compatible with each other.

I got that and then from that page I change the end of the URL to /sc/pzn and then hit enter and it has worked like that more than 10 times.

2x4GB not 1x8GB would be better. if you can stretch to a K series and a Z77 you'd get more longevity out of it.

haswell would be better... you're buy previous generation there.

I will think about changing the memory, as for the CPU I will most likely stick with that as the is the highest my budget will allow me to go and the motherboards I will look at further but when I first made that list there wasn't as much stock.

If I was to upgrade to Haswell what motherboard would you suggest that is windows 8 compatible and would that all be compatible with my other components.

Intel CPU's have "dual channel" memory..... for this feature to work, you need two (2) physical DIMM

If you ONLY buy 1 x 8Gb stick of RAM your computer will run at exactly HALF the speed it should.......
