I am building a new pc in a month, I used the website www.pcpartpicker.com to combine all the parts for the CPU that I plan to build, but since it's my first build I wanted to run it by someone who knew a thing or two about pc's before I spent money on something. The build I currently have selected is as follows.

CPU: AMD FX-6300

Motherboard: ASRock 990FX Extreme3

Memory: Corsair Vengeance

Storage: Western digital caviar blue 1TB 3.5'' 7200RPM internal HD

GPU: Asus radeon R9 270X 2GB

Wireless network adaptor: TP-Link TL-WDN4800 802.11a/b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-fi Adapter

Case: Thermaltake commander MSI snow edition ATX mid tower case

Power supply: Logisys 550W ATX power supply

Optical drive: Asus DRW-24B3st/BLK/G/AS DVD/CD writer

OS: Windows 7 64bit

And then of course I will have peripherals like a monitar, mouse, keyboard, etc...

I would highly appreciate if anyone could confirm whether or not there would be complications in this build, if so what steps would I take to fix it? Is there anything from the build missing that would keep it from being functional, or is there anything that's there that's not necessary? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was going to start with 8GB of ram, kinda small but it's not too expensive and I can always add more at a later date. The purpose is for gaming, I'm not necessarily a speed freak when it comes to such things, if I can't run the most demanding game in the world at the highest settings then I'm not going to complain about it, but I at least want to be able to run newer titles and future titles.

You're actually the 2nd person to mention the power supply, Would a Thermaltake 600W ATX12V suffice? if not what would you recommend?
