So I currently have a Athlon II X4 760K but I am planning to switch to Intel, so I need a CPU that would be balanced with my HD 7770. Thanks already.
EDIT: For games like BF4 and PS2.

well, yeah. but are You having problem playing games?
edit: i mean that you seem to have a pretty balanced pc. switching to intel will make you buy a cpu as well as motherboard. on the other hand, you can upgrade from the radeon hd7770.

Well I don't own many CPU intensive games but PlanetSide 2 is making my CPU to bottleneck my GPU to 30 % usage :/

Intel has better performance per core, and most games are optimized only for 2 cores, and in addition may have some spec. optimizations for intel - So not many games can fully use potential of quad core CPU specially from AMD, on other side your cpu is bottlenecking that gpu a little. World of Tanks, Diablo3/SC2, Assassin's series and so on.. prefer intel units, but all depends on your budget. From intel you would need at least Haswell i3, pentiums are to slow, such 2cores cpu cant handle most modern games with higher settings - and as always the best cost/effective choice are i5 4cores.
Maybe you should consider AMD FX cpu series (AM3 socket), if it would be compatible with your motherboard - any info?

Going to intel is kinda overkill since you would need more than 2 cores and 4 cores with an intel cpu is going to cost you more than $200. A 7770 does not need a powerful CPU like the i5. If you already have an AM3 socket board maybe you could just go with a fx series to save some money.

Athlon II s are FM2. But if I would upgrade from this CPU to a FX- 4300, how much increase would I get in performance?

I don't recommend the switch. I have always liked AMD and love their cpus. For graphics I like nvidia, but there is not matching the fx-8350 for the price you get it at. If you are looking to upgrade I would recommend the 8350 strongly. 8 cores running at 4.0 ghz with a 4.2 ghz turbo and it overclocks like a champ for 200 dollars. Could somebody tell me what intel offers for that price? INTEL IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

So, are you saying go AMD? I'm considering the opposite of the OP for my build, going from Intel to AMD

I understand that you are talking about switching to a intel processor, but I am recommending that you stay with an AMD processor because I believe that you get the better bang for your buck and it would also work very compatibly with your graphics card where as intel and AMD tend to not play nice together. I only mention this because it would save you money, and I think the system would end up better in the end.
