gtx 780ti power and sli

I currently have one gtx 780ti and just got my 1440p monitor. I was wondering how sli scales with the 780ti and if its worth it. Right now the only game I play crysis 3 gets below 60fps and bf4 is over. Should I sli the 780ti or just save my money for the next 800 series? Also, i have a 1000 watt psu so sli won't be an issue but how much more electricity will I use..like will my wife notice on the electric bill? thanks

250W extra won't be noticed on a power bill, if the current pc doesn't give you a heart attack the extra wattage won't be a problem. sli gives you about 50-75% scaling on average
