need help on compatibility

i just ordered the components as stated...the question is, will the hyperx memory be compatible with the gigabyte 970a-ds3 motherboard?? *really need help, thanks in advance*

More than likely, but without knowing the speed of the memory you purchased, it's impossible to say for sure.

Specs state the following is compatible:

4 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 32 GB of system memory (Note 1)
Dual channel memory architecture
Support for DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1866/1600/1333/1066 MHz memory modules (Note 2)

sorry i left out that important bit of information..its 2 modules of 4gb...1600
