User Profile logonService Failed also keyboard does not funtion during options for safemode.

Here is my issue, The User Profile Service service failed..When I try to go into the safe mode option to try and fix this problem, a new problem pops up! My keyboard is "sleeping" and wont allow arrow function. How do I get keyboard function?

My keyboard is usb. But I don't follow what you're saying. Could you put your answer in "low tech speak".

Karenas- Found the ps/2 keyboard, but my cpu has no input port that fits. Any other ideas how to get keyboard functioning so I can fix the main problem which is the Login Service failed. I do appreciate your help.

Well now my world is coming to an end! Now computer is going directly to options/ widow after login service fails. Now I only have 2 options.."start windows normally" and "launch start up repair". No longer do I see "safe mode" option! (grr) Since I don't have keyboard functions, timer runs down and automatically starts "repairing" then option to return computer to factory state! Since I haven't been able to back up I don't want to do this. BTW what does/is BIOS?

Ok found ADVANCED menu containing USB PORTS, (No USB Legacy option found) there are 7 ports available, the keyboard port states that it is enabled as is all other ports.
