Will the Intel Pentium G2010 bottleneck the HD7770 on a Corsair VS450?
If yes; then to what extent, like by how much will my frame rates drop?
What fps will I get on games like COD-Ghosts, BF3, BF4, Crysis-3 etc on 1600x900?

How much difference is there in fps between 1920x1080 and 1600x900?
Will there be much of a difference between the two's graphics performance on heavy duty games using the 7770? What will be the difference in fps in the two resolutions?

Thanks

g2010 is from ivy bridge and it will not bottleneck hd 7770 go for it. you will play games like crazy. dreamerman has sandy bridge cpu and is weaker compared to your ivy bridge.

get hd 7790 and no it will not bottleneck it. fps will be over 20 if you play on medium crysis3 and over 30 in other games. just do not select ultra and antialiasing and you will play all the games out there with even the 7770 but get 7790 is worth every buck. i have 7750 and i play on 1080p high settings on games

Hardly managed to cram the hd 7770 in my budget. 7790 wouldn't be possible. but right now all i have is an intel 945 onboard graphics chip and considering that, a 7770 is AMAZING. :p

you sure the pentium wouldn't bottleneck it?

Yes your cpu (2cores Pentium) will be bottlenecked such gpu. I have also 2core but G620, and it's bottlenecking everything above older radeon hd6670. I made some test and just buying better card without having at least i3 or i5 is pointless. Very small difference, of course there is gain, but that cpu can't unleash full potential of such card, and 2core cpu isn't enough to play most modern games.
Multiplayer based games needs also better cpu, biggest difference would be on noticed only on 3d mark or gpu based games like Alien vs Predator 2010..Note that all benchmarks on sites uses cpu like i5/i7 to show gpu difference.

Edit: crazy spell checking..

weaker, how much, about 10%.. that gpu will be bottlenecked and in newer games 2cores is just not enough. If now you have integrateg graphic it's obvious that it will be much speed up, but without at least i3 you will not be able to use full potential of such card - thats why all benchmarks are done at least on i5 or i7 => to eliminate cpu bottlenecking.

I researched a little bit about the same question in previous tomshardware threads and discovered the following:

it is hard to find a CPU that bottlenecks the 7770 and any processor above and INCLUDING the g2010 will run the 7770 smoothly on 1920x1080 res with maximum performance that the card can offer.
