is this good for average gaming

so im building a pc in the summer wondering how good this is, i dont really play new release games so nothing overly fancy just powerful enough to play the average game on max. btw i may do some minor overclocking for when i render the old video or two

This build will be perfect for playing the latest titles at med to high settings.

But, I would suggest going with 2x4gb sticks of ram insted of 1x8gb. So take advantage of dual channel. And improve performance

yeah i heard about the dual channel being better although its more expensive and shouldnt really impact fps much so its some fat i can shred

edit: i dont really play bf so im cool there :)

You´ll be fine without dual channel and you could buy more ram in the future.
