Bought the camera at a thrift store, it works great but no software for it. I can retrieve pics through a memory card but would love the driver for my computer to recognize the camera. The driver is all that is necessary but if someone has the software that came with it originally, or knows where I can download it, I would greatly appreciate it.

They have updates but not the original software. I have been searching the web for several days and short of buying some "Driver's Update Manager" or some similar program (which by the way did not even see the camera) I don't know what to do. I bought this for my 66 year old Aunt in KY (and I am in Alabama) and she is so happy with the camera, but it would be so much easier for her if the computer would recognize the camera when it is plugged in. I downloaded Nikon Transfer 1.5.3 and it works great on seeing the memory card, but the camera just is not recognized. The software that originally came with the camera was "Nikon Picture Project" and a suite of software from Arcsoft which included "Panorama Maker", "Photobase", and "Video Impression" Although I would love to find these for her, I would be ecstatic to just find the right drivers for the camera. I have been reading around in the forums here and I also tried just plugging the camera in and running the Camera/Scanner wizard, but with no disk, the only thing that comes up is a Xerox Scanner, no Nikon cameras at all to choose from. I would appreciate and help or suggestions at all. Thanks for taking the time to read and respond.

Got it. I don't think you will get the bundle software for free anywhere and if you get it, it will be without the license key. The software you are searching for might be ViewNX. According to Nikon it includes Nikon Transfer 2 and the drivers.

Thanks so much I will go to the site and check that out and let you know as soon as I get her to download it on her computer. I will be Skyping her today and we will try it.
