Hi all,

Had a blue screen last night on my build that is ~3 months old. I have had no issues with it up until then. Before I went to bed I ran MemTest86 and it passed at 100%.

I was just reading an internet article last night when it BSOD-ed, then it happened again today while I was gone and it was just idling (anti-virus and such running in the background)

Other info:
--Did not install anything new yesterday, just updated version of FireFox (WaterFox)
--Adequate cooling with CPU temp between 28-32 C
--Nothing detected after running MalwareBytes

Here is the info that Windows 7 gave me:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 1000007e
BCP1: FFFFFFFFC0000005
BCP2: FFFFF88004CACB7E
BCP3: FFFFF88007C4D578
BCP4: FFFFF88007C4CDD0
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\011214-5803-01.dmp
C:\Windows\Temp\WER-7534-0.sysdata.xml

Any help on this? :/

Thanks in advance

Solution
First, download and run the free memtest that boots from a CD HERE to check your memory.

To do a system repair, just boot with your install disk and select system repair like THIS.

I did a system restore to about two weeks ago before I had any problems and it also undid the WaterFox update. It was fine all day yesterday but then just BSOD-ed again while watching a YouTube video on firefox.

I didn't try system repair, how do I do that? Any other suggestions? Very frustrating!

Today's BSOD:

I ran MemTest86 and it came back with 0 errors, 100% pass.

I did the system repair with the install disk as you suggested; I'll let you know if I am BSOD free.

Thanks for all of the help thus far!
