Hey forums...new member ... I am building new system have most things nailed down on it. But I am finding conflicting camps on this forum when it comes to cooling your CPU. Air vs water?
Case: Corsair obsidian 900d
Mobo: Asus rampage IV black
CPU: 4930k Ivy bridge
GPU: 780ti sli x2
Memory: Corsair dominator plat 16gb 2133
SSD: 1tb samsung 840 evo
Hard drive : 4tb wd black
PSU: 1200 w corsair
One of the things is I am a gamer. This rig will not be moved unless I move houses. I have a young son so I get banished into my man cave with door closed, my current pc gets hot as is, with no overlock. I have headset when I play but would prefer to not have jet in my room with me. So water or air. If I go water I was looking at Cooler Master Neptun 280L- AOI. I have seen some forum posts saying this is best bet? Would air cool be quieter? Would water cool better then high end air?
Other question, one large SSD drive or two smaller ones in raid set up? Anything else you guys see in build I should change? Thanks a lot!
