Quick question, with my R9 290 windforce (aftermarket cooler) came Gigabytes overclocking software called "OC guru II", i've yet to tried it out and installed afterburner instead.

Should i try using it to achieve a more stable overclock instead of afterburner?

So far i'm fairly stable at 1200/1300 with a little bit of overvolting. Power limit set to 50%+

Thanks in advance!

Hm, still would like some answers on this thread.

I can't seem to go above 1200mhz on the core as i can only add an offset of +100mV in afterburner, they won't allow more. Any answers?
