I have 2 cards for 2 screens, is it unwise to run different cards?

Im running a hd 7850 for my gaming/main screen
AND
a hd 5450 for my second screen

the second screen is only to run web browsers, documents, worst thing would be photoshop

Should i just use the hd 7850 for both displays or keep it like it is or get 2 hd 7850s, which i presumed would be a waste of money

later im considering getting a gtx 780 and something like a gt 610 for the second display?

just worried about any kind of performance loss from this setup

Solution
Sell HD 5450 while you still can because in coming time it's value is going to fall even more. And use gtx 630 with your gtx 780 for dual screen and you will be as smooth as butter.

Agreed. Also, the 7580 will suit your purposes just fine.

Right ive realised why i couldnt use the same gpu, when i get the gtx 780 it only has 1 analogue output (same with my current hd7850) and my monitors are analogue, so i would need either another card or new monitors.

Even tho there is no need for 2 cards is it bad in anyway in terms of performance on the main one?
Being a bit of a noob here coz when i had older gpus they supported more then 1 analogue output so ive never had this problem before

maybe ill just get new monitors....

No it is not bad to have two cards instead it is good and boost your gaming performance but the problem is they either both have to be ATI or Nvidia. You might want to change your monitor. Could you tell me what option does your graphic card has? is it DMI, HDMI or VGA?

1 x Dual-Link DVI-D
1 x Dual-Link DVI-I
1 x HDMI (with 3D)
1 x DisplayPort 1.2

and im pretty positive im getting gtx 780 which has the same

i have a spare hd 5450 and a spare gtx 630, so i suppose i could use them until i get new monitors
