I have a problem with buying RAM for my two dying PCs. Planned to upgrade them fully in one go but currently I desperately need new RAM modules in one of them, so thought about buying 32GB quad channel RAM and putting two modules in each PC (since currently one have 4GB and other 8GB. The problem is that I would like this RAM to be a bit "futureproof" so when I upgrade the motherboards and processors at later point, I won't have to replace it but buy the same quad channel kit so there would be 32GB on each. My question is - will this RAM work on those older motherboards?

motherboards in question are:

And the RAM that I want to buy:

So to sum it up:
I want to put two modules of this RAM on each motherboard and my question is - will it work?

I would contact G.Skill support and ask them if it will run on those boards, since both have specs that say the max ram speed is 1600. Also, the H55 board only takes 16GB total and may have issues with 8GB sticks, even only two. I've found G.Skill support to be very responsive on such questions.

It's unlikely that you will run across somebody that has used that memory (which is great memory) on those boards though.
