If you gaming you probably will be fine with 8 gb's of RAM, so here is what I'd consider:

You could just get 2x8gb ram and beef up on something else. Maybe a closed loop liquid cooler or an ASUS or EVGA GTX 770.
Of course all motherboards are prone to someone having some type of error. A quick google serach will show this.

Consider a different motherboard as well, perhaps something like:
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming
MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming
ASRock Z87 Extreme4
ASRock Z87 Extreme6
ASUS Z87-PLUS

I hope this link works to compare those 5:

Looks like a good build, would also suggest 2x8GB (less stress on the MC (memory controller), might look at the GSkill Snipers or Tridents in 1866 or 2133 (or even 2400 w/ current prices), Haswell loves fast sticks

, the GB is a good mobo, but Asus seems to have the best handle on the Z87 and Haswell, at that price point might look at the Z87-A or the Z87-Plus both are great mobos for the 4670K
