Problem installing wireless drivers

I took an unused wireless card (DW 1502) from another computer to use in my PC; however, I'm having trouble installing the drivers for it. There are many different versions of the driver; however, it seems that they are specific to a model of dell PCs. Is there a generic driver for this card, or is there another way of getting this to work?

I've tried installing a few different drivers for that chip; however, none seem to work. Whenever I unplug my ethernet cable, it just displays an error as though the card isn't even installed in the computer (which it is).

After about 3 days of searching, I discovered the solution only to find that I had the correct drivers all along. The Dell drivers (which I had originally thought were only for certain models of dell computers) worked perfectly. The computer just didn't know where the drivers where installed on my computer. I went into the hardware manager from the control panel and manually installed the drivers. Probably a huge noob mistake (I blame growing up on Macs my whole life :p). Thank you anyways for the help :)
