I am building a new computer and the ASUS M5A97 is the mobo I have chosen. I already own the Kingston HyperX 8 GB (4x2) KHX1600C9D3K2/8gx 1.65v RAM.
I do not really want to buy new RAM. I understand that in order for the RAM I own to run at 1600 it needs 1.65v.
From what I understand I would need to reduce the volts to the RAM to 1.5 in the BIOS in order for my memory to run, but then it would possibly be unstable??
The asus website says that my memory at 1.65v will work in the board if I have read their website correctly.

So my question is will this memory work with my motherboard?
