Hi everyone! I was wondering if it was worth it to upgrade from my 3570k to the i7-3770k? (I have an ASUS p8z77-v pro motherboard, and it can only handle socket 1155.)
If it is worth it to upgrade, then can I just swap the cpu out without having to format my hard drives or do anything else? (I have only built a rig from the ground up, but have not had to upgrade it before.)
