Make sure the right channel isn't muted somehow, and try them (wirelessly) with another device.

I have the same headphones, but never experienced this problem. I suspect the DAC circuitry might be faulty in yours. I'm afraid you might have to return them.

Edit: Did the right channel work, ever?

Welcome 2018/2019. Well another 2 years has passed!

Please forgive I do not meant to necro a thread but I have the solution.
I am using Harmon Kardon bluetooth headphone. One side (left side) has no audio within Bluetooth connection. Let me establish that wired connection works fine with the same source, my android phone. So its not my phone problem, not my wire problem, not my other audio source problem etc. Its Headphone left side problem.

Here's how I fixed it.
1. First connect to Bluetooth audio source. In my case its an Android phone
2. The left channel audio is muted as expected. While on right side has audio playing
3. Prepare the audio cable (I do not know its proper name). Put one side connected to another audio source. In my case is PC
4. Plug that cable now into Harmon Kardon headphone without stopping Bluetooth music that was connected
5. My PC have no music playing. So from Step 4, the audio now immediately becomes silent both sides.
6. Now, unplug the cable from headphone which immediately brings back the audio playing in Step 1
7. This time unlike Step 2, the audio from left side now recovers slightly/completely
8. Repeat Step 4 to 6 until left side stabilizes and equalize with right side
9. Enjoy

Please note the problem will be back again. I read somewhere its due to shutting down of an audio source where the audio cable is still connected to the Harmon Kardon Bluetooth headphone. In my case, its my PC. That audio cable is almost always connected to my headphone
