So I have a Dell currently that came with windows 8. My plan currently is to sell it to a friend and build a new pc. I know I'll have to buy a new copy of win8 for my new build. I was hoping to ghost the hdd and then do a reinstall of 8 (new copy) on the new drive for new pc. Then, supposing that works, my problem then lies in whether or not I can do a clean reinstall of widows on the existing dell for a new user. Will I need a brand new copy? Or if I can do a clean reinstall, do I just need the windows 8 recovery disks? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
