my samsung rv520 computer screen broke i think its in safe mode i brought a hdmi cable to connect to my aoc L19w861 tv and it wont show up on my tv what can I do to see the display on my tv?

You need to get the screen fixed because you need to see Windows on it so you can get to the display settings where you change the primary display device to be the external monitor.
