Anyone able to explain to me what is causing this issue? you can see on the jeans there how bad it is the green moss looking tint and its only ever really visbile in dark areas of games or images but mostly prevalent in games. I have two monitors a 23" asus and 24" vg248qe that i recently bought. The new monitor has a bit of bleed and 1 stuck/dead pixel which is definitely an annoyance for a new piece of tech but i guess i can live with it.

Reason i mention the monitors is that i dont think they are the issue here, cables are securely in place both in the monitors themselves and into the graphics card and i was able to recreate the same images on the older monitor albeit for some reason not as extreme as the new monitor but its there and for some reason APB is a great game to show this issue off.

So anyone have any ideas what is the problem?

Everything is at default settings and i recently did a clean install of windows 7 so it has nothing to do with any color settings i may have mucked up.

My system specs are:

i7 2600k
8gb ddr3 1600
6970 gpu
p67a-gd65 mobo

You may have to post a picture taken from a camera off screen. It looks fine and dandy here, maybe you just need to tweak with your monitor's OSD settings? Having just got the VG248QE myself days ago, the colours can be quite saturated, to the point of looking very silly! There's quite a bit of colour crush, and the contrast is awful compared to my Dell U2312HM.

Check out this review here:

There are a lot of tips on how to get the colours looking good, as well as downloads for ICC profiles which again, will help out with the odd colours.

I see a normal picture as well. As I understand things if you take a print screen and everyone else says its fine, you have a monitor/cable issue. I'd start by trying a different cable, and if it continues try a different monitor. I see you said you tried a new monitor, so perhaps try a different cable or adapter if you are using one.

Took a few photos from my phone of the screenshots i had so hopefully you guys can see what im talking about now.
I'm going to go see if i can find another dual link dvi cable laying around and try it, but i find it hard to believe that its the cables or monitors and maybe just a graphics card issue. I was able to reproduce the same effect on the older monitor using a single link dvi cable and although it wasn't as pronounced there i could still clearly see the problem, before though i never noticed this issue at all probably because it didnt exist... the gpu is about 3-4 years old now i think i had it since Q1/Q2 2011, but besides what im trying to show here games run fine there are no freezes or crashes or any artifacts that i have seen and nothing is OCed

Game is fully updated and my drivers are the latest as i have recently re-installed W7 and got all the drivers for everything

I tried using another cable and i was still getting the same result, albeit again to a lesser extent and it was a single link dvi. I couldn't test another dual link since i only have this one, but i feel that im coming to the conclusion that the problem is in fact something to do with the GPU

Before getting rid of the card, test out your onboard graphics (plug straight into the motherboard). Bad things can happen now and again with 120/144hz monitors, I know the Benq ones seem to have a fairly poor track record, so it could be the screen as well (so test it with another screen, get a mates or plug into a TV). What was your old monitor by the way?

Also, when did this start happening? Was it after a driver update or anything of the like?
