Hey Guys ;)
Im planning to upgrade my GPU freom a GT 555.
My Computer is a alienware x51, and im planning to upgrade to a Asus GTX 770.

And ye, i know i cant upgrade to a 770, with an alienbware x51, so im going to buy a new case, and a new psu.
I just need some help, would the products i found work? Can i put all my Alienware x51 items, exept PSU and GPU inside?

And im a bit scared for not plugging cables in the right place on the motherboard if i buy a new case.
If someone got a picture of what should be plugged in where i would be so happy :)
System Specs:
Operative System: Windows 7 Home Premium Home Edition
Motherboard: CPU: 4x, 3000 MHz
Meomory: 8086 MB

Got a I5
My Motherboard firts in ITX (i think thats how i say it)

Thats pretty much everything i know about my pc :)

btw i got a 150 watt ac power supply brick by dell i think :)
The parts im planning to buy: (Come with suggestions if its some bad parts)

Power: http://www.corsair.com/us/power-supply-units/vs-series-power-supply-units/vs-seriestm-vs650-650-watt-power-supply.html

Case: http://www.coolermaster.com/case/mid-tower/elite-430-usb3/

GPU: https://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GTX770DC2OC2GD5/

Thx for the help :)

1. VS series of PSU's are not trusted unit's, get a better one like HX or TX series of Corsair.

2. If you have a ITX MB, then I think the RAM sticks will block the way of your long GPU, so make some measurements before you buy.

3. Generally Branded PC's has locked BIOS, and works with their own OEM GPU's, so you might find it hard to work your 770 GPU.

4. You can see some videos on YouTube on how to assemble parts inside your chosen case/cabinet.

Alright, thx for the quick respond.
It was usefull for me and i found a new PSU, i choosed a TX650 for it. :)
And i researched about some new GPU, it seems like Alienware said "We can not promise the customers that they can put a 780 ti in the alienware x51, we just tested out gtx 660 and down, that is the supported GPU for alienware x51 r1, if upgrading your gpu, plz do it at your own risk"
So, they said the supported GPU is 660 under, but i heard people with a gtx 680 in their Alienware x51 r1, Dows that mean i can put in a GTX 770? :)

Yes TX 650 is a decent PSU.

And as I said earlier the OEM BIOS is the root of problems, so I cant also say for sure that GTX 770 will work for sure or not, a bit of risk involved doing this.

Better look at vendors website for a MB BIOS update file, if available, there you can read the release notes on what has changed on the latest BIOS, you may find some info there in relation to GPU upgrade.

If you want to take the risk then get the 770, install it, if it runs then you are lucky, if not, then try to update the MB BIOS, it may help you. Else you could update the GPU BIOS, sometime it helps to run on a older chipset(MB). Good luck.

Note : I am repeating again take the measurement of case/cabinet, PSU and GPU, before you buy anything, its important.
