I am looking at an ASUS VG248QE monitor. Has anyone ever used this model before. And if yes, what are the pros/cons.

Thanks,

Mike

Great monitor, best for gaming, and 144Hz??
After playing on this you won't want to go back to 60Hz.
I just bought one of this.

+ Great refresh rate ( best monitor for gaming )
+ Your in game score will get much more better
( it might look strange, but I can say, this is like a cheat, you spot enemies faster and your reflections gets faster aswell )

- You might need a more powerfull GPU, playing with 30 fps won't use the full potential of 144Hz.
( 760, 770 ) Gtx

I don't know if you use a GTX card, but if you do.. You should wait for the new G-Sync monitors that ASUS will be releasing in Q2 this year. There will be a few options from (24"-1080p) (27"-1080p) and (27"-1440p) Other vendors will be releasing G-Sync gaming monitors as well like BenQ, Viewonsic, Philiips, Acer, and AOC. I believe the minimum requirement for G-Sync is a GTX 650ti.
