Hello all,

I am currently deciding between the R7 260x 2GB and the similar GTX 650 Ti 2GB. Both provide ample power for my current needs.

What is the architectural differences between the two brands?

Is PhysX a good reason to buy the GTX? Are there any downfalls to buying NVidia?

Originally, I wanted AMD's Eyefinity. is NVidia's Surround just as good? (bezel management, etc)
I am looking to buy 3 1920x1080 monitors soon, but not necessarily with this card purchase.

What about Mantle? Should I be factoring that into my decision?

Are there any other features of either brand I could use to help make my decision?

Physx is irrelevant when you are purchasing a low end GPU - you will not be able to use Physx with a 650Ti and have a decent framerate.

Why are you looking at 150USD GPU in the first place if you are going to get 3 monitors? Neither of the two GPUs will be able to run games at that resolution.

Mantle is irrelevant as long as there are no real benchmarks of it's performance.

hm, what if i bought the 650 Ti, and in time when i do purchase the 3 monitors (~6+ months), buy a high end AMD, and use the 650 Ti solely for PhysX processing? what kind of gfx card would you recommend for this setup?

Edit: FYI, i am looking for a cheap gfx solution at the moment because Intel Graphics 3000 is not sufficient for anything worthwhile :p
