Hi im buying this pc on my budget AVP specialist Gaming case

Asus P5K Pro motherboard (supports overclocking)

Intel Q8200 Quad Core 2.33ghz - FSB 1333mhz (unlocked)

Xigma High end heatsink/Cooler (Ideal for overclocking)

Asus Geforce GTX275 868mb Graphics Card

4Gig DDR2

160Gig SATA II (3Gig per second)

what gpu would be best for this setup what i want to play is dayz standalone especially and other games

Yes it will work fine, but some more recent games will be held back by the CPU. Will still perform much better than the GTX 275 though!

I would certainly overclock your CPU also to get some more speed out of it. You should be able to get at least 3Ghz.

This guy here has a setup with a GTX 660 and a Q8200
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoCi7URv1R0

In the comments, he says that his framerate is 30(min)-43(max) fps.
I had a GTX 560 Ti, which is a bit worse that the GTX 660 and I got around 50-55(average) fps on highest settings.
I do have a heavily overpower CPU (i7 3960x), so that isn't the bottleneck in my setup.
So I doubt that if you get the 660 Ti, that you'll get a much better performance than with a 660.
Unless you plan to upgrade to a newer CPU somewhere in the future, so you CPU isn't the bottleneck anymore, I'd go with the 660.
