I had an issue and say there was a BIOS update, it seems to have fixed it, not now Win8 HDD just BSOD when I choose it. Windows 7 is in a RAID set up.
When I go into BIOS and it shows boot order all I see is RAID and DVD drive. When I first installed Win8 I remember it was kinda a pain to get mobo to see it. It's an upgrade from 7 so I don't think it's eufi.

When I go into 7, it can see and access the Windows 8 HDD fine. BIOS does see the HDD and sees which SATA its plugged into.

Thanks for any help.

My USB 3.0 ports were causing the unit to freeze in 7 or 8. So I had to stop using them altogether.

I am using Intel RSTe for the RAID. I just looked at it in Win7 and it shows the RAID but when I look at the other HDD it says it's not a System Disk.

Well I think I figured it out. Had to go to ASmedia and enable it as a possible boot device, but I swear I am using an Intel SATA3 connection.

Thanks anyways.
