Do these memory timings look correct?

Hi,

I have 6Gb of memory and CPU-Z shows the following:-

DDR3

NB freequency 2806.5Mhz

DRAM Frequency 701.6 Mhz

FSB:DRAM 2:8

CAS Latency (CL) 9.0

RAS to CAS (tRCD) 9

RAS Precharge (tRP) 9

Cycle Time (tRAS) 24

Row Refresh Cycle Time (tRFC) 74

Command Rate (CR) 1T

Do those timing seem normal and acceptable. I will be getting an R9 290 in a few days time and dont want anything bottle necking it.

This is the Part number:- Kingston 9905403-083.A00LF 2GB

looks like its been throttled a little, maybe by the cpu. Theoretically the ram should be running at 800mhz not 701.2 I think if you stress the cpu a little it will bump the ram up to the intended 800mhz. Other then that everything looks good, 9-9-9-24 t1 1600mhz is a very common speed for ram now a days.

So should I overclock the CPU up to 3.8Ghz? I have a Coolmaster V6 so think I can keep it cool enough at 3.8Ghz.

your cpu is probably throttling back when its not being stressed, which is fine, once you start to put a load on it it will come back to it intended speed.
