What are the benefits of Ubuntu and the benefits of Hackintosh?

Also can I dual boot this if I decide to partition 100GB of my 1TB drive? (I got Windows 7 on my SSD)

Can I run all 3 with partitions? (A 30GB partition for Ubuntu)

Is my computer compatible?

Also I'm overclocked if that makes a difference.

Let's turn the question around and ask what you want of an operating system. As you already have Windows 7, but are looking at other OSs, what is missing in Windows that you are looking for.

Much depends upon what you use your computer for. Google will provide a wealth of information for such a general question. This should be your starting point. If there are any specific questions that you can't find the answer to there then come back and ask.

As for Hackintosh - I'd forget the idea with your hardware. You would have to do a lot of research.
