My pc has been acting-up recently and I'm experiencing what i can only describe as short freezes or hiccups where the system will not respond for 5 - 10 secs. After the freeze the system resumes regular operation (ie. programs keep running, video keeps playing etc.) I didn't notice it at first but it seems to be consistently happening every 10-20 minutes. It's usually evident when i play videos either from the pc or streamed to another pc. I also see it in games and the freeze period is greatly amplified inside the virtual machines i'm running (freezes go up 15 - 30 secs).
I have no idea where to begin tracking down the problem, so i'm putting this our there to the TM experts....
