Hello. I built my friend's PC about a month back. When we built it, it was a beast, running dual monitors, 1920 x 1080 on one screen and 1440 x 900 on the other. However, about a week ago, he has been having problems with the computer freaking out "http://imgur.com/a/rYmAt" We have tried reinstalling drivers, switching PCI slots, we are about to try a clean install of Windows 8 again, but it just does that or black screens out of the blue. No indication. Just blank and the only thing we can do is a hard reset. If anyone can help, it is greatly appreciated.

Update: After switching PCIe slots, it still black screened.
After checking some more posts, it seems that PSU matters quite a bit. We have a Rosewill HIVE 650W installed
We did a clean install and it seems to be working. I will update when my friend tells me anything more, but I am hopeful.
Welp. It crashed again. Would the PSU not have enough wattage to supply the GPU?

Splendid
When you boot to the windows 8 disc is everything on the screen displayed correctly? Is the bios screen displayed correctly if so then yes its a software issue and reinstalling would definatly help. If the screens are messed up during the bios or the win 8 install screens then its a hardware issue which your warranty should cover supousing you have one with your purchase

That is what it is sounding like because nothing happened in BIOS; Will update after clean install

Will do. Right now, we are gonna try running on onboard graphics for about half an hour and see what happens because last time it happened, it was like only 10 minutes after boot.
