I am buying a new computer soon and I was wondering if I buy a pair of HyperX black and a pair of HyperX red, will they work together?
It would be really good for the colour scheme I'm going for.

Aren't they the exact same except for the heatspreader colour?

Okay, thank you :)
I'll stick to the black colour, since they are...

If they will play together, YES - they can and will run DUAL Channel, the problem that may arise is if they will play together, generally even if they don't want to, with 1600 and under sticks it's fairly simple to adjust voltages and timings so they will play, but there;s no guarantee, it's never a good idea to plan to mix DRAM as it can be problematic, the large variety of sticks and package sizes available are so that you can get the amount you want and get sticks that are tested to work together, (which is also why say a set of 4x4GB cost more than 2 sets of 2 sticks, getting 4 that play nice takes a bit of time, getting twwo that do so is much easier to find

Looking back on this.

Are you saying it will work in, for example, this order: red black red black?
