Need suggestions on gaming PC build.

So I'm going to build a new gaming PC in late August this year, which is after my summer job ends. I'll have at least a $1,000 but possibly no more than $1,500. I need suggestions on full system builds. I would prefer an i7 CPU and I prefer to have a Geforce graphics card by NVIDIA.

Basically everything including fans, psu and such, but I don't need a monitor, keyboard or mouse. My monitor is a Dell E2414hr 1920 x 1080 LED. I'm pretty sure I won't need a sound card as I'll leave that to the motherboard. But suggestions are still good though. I also don't need an OS, I am going to install Windows 7. This is also my first build. Thank you!

  1. Technology and prices change too frequently to plan a build 8 months in advance.

This isn't just me being lazy... but ask again in late July / early August:p

Heh heh I sorta figured that, but I was like What the heck? Let's see what type of quality PC I can squeeze out of my budget.
  3. I have a build saved at just over $1000 that will give you an idea. Pcpartpicker seems to be down at the moment though

Here is that build. Should give you a decent idea of what your budget can afford.

By the time you come to building this Nvidia should have released their 8-series 'Maxwell' cards so I doubt you will use the same GPU.
