Okay, here's the story. When I boot into Win 7 and login, There's always either a Black screen or a Light blue screen (Doesn't look like BSOD). The only time it boots is when I have the AMD drivers uninstalled or when Win 7 is in safe mode. Its booted before, and now...

Edit: When the drivers are installed, There are blue and red lines everywhere in the Login scrren.

Here are my Specs:

AMD 8350
Sapphire R9 280X/HD7970
Asrock Extreme3 970 R2
Some 750W Gold PSU from Cooler master

Have you recently updated the drivers or got any new hardware? Have you tried a restore point older than the time this started happening?

Yes I have the latest Driver, also tested the beta driver, still doesn't work. I'll try restoring when I get back to my PC tomorrow.

I have an older 780 AMD chipset mobo I run my HTPC on, and if I try to use the new AMD drivers OR the MS updated drivers, it won't boot (Radeon 3200 chipset if I remember right), so I'm forced to use the original installed driver when I installed Windows on it...

Yeah. I tried to re-install windows 7 and I still have problems, I've tried reinserting the GPU in a different slot, I've tried resetting the csmos. I think I might need to replace my card.

try to clean your system using amd uninstall utility. ive had to many issues using amds driver upgrades.

1. download amd uninstall utility (unfortanitly its not on amds site anymore but it does exist by 3rd partys)

link to one sites but there are other sites that have it
http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/AMD-CleanUninstal...

2. run program to remove all amd software
3. reboot
4. download newest amd drivers and install

I have to do this every time amd releases new updates or I run into issues. hope it fixs your issue

Okay. I've re-installed Windows 7 and I still have the same problems, I've also tried installing Linux, It too has problems with 64bit Drivers. I think I've somehow damaged the card, Its only 3 weeks old.

Bad video card. If it's only 3 weeks old, get it replaced under warranty.
