Need Help computer will not boot up!

I ordered a new mobo and cpu fro my computer and i put it all together. When i tried to boot it the fans and lights turn on and shut off immediately and i dont know why? my friend screw up my rig plugging up two powersupplys to run my gpu. he said he knew what he was doing and ever since then it has not worked. we figured it was the mobo or cpu since before i swapped everything it booted but no video and my gpu would not turn on. So he paid for half of the new cpu and mobo and now its still not running. Need help figuring out what it could be.

Hey guys thanks for replying but i figured it out it was my power supply. which is weird because i just bought it the day before xmas an evga 600w 80+ bronze. i bought it to run my gpu since my old one couldnt run it but thats why my friend pluged up two psu and my stuff messed up. so i upgraded the mobo and cpu slapped my new psu and it didnt work. i happen to have another psu that i bought online but it took forever to get here so i canceled it but arrived anyways. I dont understand how this happened before i swaped mobo and cpu it booted everything came on excepts gpu and i had no video signal. Then once it changed everything boom brand new psu that prolly only had like 15min run time is bad. Werid im just glade it booted i have been...
