Hi all, Sorry if this issue has been covered before but I am a newbie to this forum and I did check but couldn't find any reference to my problem.

AS started I have an ATI Radeon 2400 pro and I am connecting to a rather aging tv through the s-video ouput, the problem is that my card only has one other output in the form of a dms59 pin connector, I have a dms59 to twiw vga output adapter to connect my monitor.

The problem I am having is I can only connect to one output at a time, so for instance when I have a picture on my tv my monitor goes blank and visa versa.

I was wondering if anyone on this forum who knows of a way to I can have both the tv and the monitor on at the same time.

Thanks in advance
Andy

Thanks for replying Wolfshadw but I have tried everything to get the tv and monitor on together, when using the catalyst control center when I am viewing the monitor it says the tv is disabled and like wise when viewing the tv it says the monitor is disable, so I am stuck, I was hoping there might be a way of activating the two displays throught some third party software.

Regards
Andy

Hi thanks again for replying but I have found the solution... I downloaded a copy of ATI Tray Tools I then looked at the Advanced Registry Tweaks and in there under Controllers Configuration I set No CRT and LCD on same Controller to have no value, I then restarted my computer and hey presto I can now have both the monitor and tv on at the same time. hope this helps other people with the same problem.

Regards
Andy
