Will my new motherboard fit my current case?

I have currently got a - Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. G31M-S2L (Socket 775) and am thinking of upgrading to a ASUS M5A78L-M USB3 Motherboard. Will this new motherboard fit my current case? Many thanks - Rob

Im not sure of my current case, thats why I stated my current mobo soo maybe you could gauge by my current board if the new one would fit

So your current motherboard is an mATX while your new motherboard is uATX. If your current motherboard fits exactly to the case then uATX wont fit. But if you have like 2-3" below then your good

What sort of case shal I go for then, my budget isn't ridiculously high but the case needs to be "uATX" obviously?

Your case should be a mid tower case, one that supports ATX motherboards.

There are good case out there that supports ATX form factor
