I have an ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0 motherboard
http://
And I am trying to connect it wirelessly to a router/motem setup.
I think I need to buy a wireless card like this: http://
But I'm not sure if thats what I need to do. I bought a router because I'm silly and thought I could use that, but I cant figure that out. I bought a Netgear n600 Wireless Dual Band Router that I got at BestBuy for 70$ (not 100 something like in the link)http://
I just need some help. :p
I need advise on what to do and what products to buy that I can afford (preferably around 50 bucks)
This is my 1st time on this website so if I did anything wrong please don't get angry :) thanks!

I forgot to mention that I also have a Linksys Wireless-g version 4 if that helps. Also the router I will be connecting through is about 30 feet away downstairs ( and I am upstairs) through a few walls. So it would need to be a fairly strong wireless connector thing.

Thanks! I was just a little confused about if I needed one. Would you recommend any for playing games? I'm about 30 feet from the router through a floor and like 2 or 3 walls.

For playing games, WiFi is generally subpar. But every house is different. You'll just have to try it and see.

Yeah I just need to use Wifi until I can move out of my parents house (I am still in highschool). I just have to do what I can. Thanks for the help! :)

I have 4 desktops in the house all sharing the same connections and all play fine at the same time using n adapters ranging in speeds from 150-300Mbps like the one I linked, my current internet connection is considered fast and is only 30Mbps so that is the bottleneck not the WiFi. It is more that I see my actual connection bottleneck when a big download is in progress.
